About the event

Three brothers try to dive back into their childhood by re-enacting an old family picture. In the process, old grudges resurface and the process goes less than smoothly. Shot in a single take, with no music or special effects, the film feels authentic and relatable.

Director Tim Ellrich said he wanted to "bring families together and make people call their siblings after watching it. And last but not least, we wanted to make people laugh about three grown up men in a bathtub."

Released in 2016, Die Badewanne went on to win Best International Short Film at the Dublin International Film Festival and the Special Jury Awart at the 38th Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival.
